the béton bowl reinterprets the everyday feeding vessel as architecture. its raised, inclined form draws from brutalism, the movement that took its name from béton brut, raw concrete, and from the round, grand geometry of the stadium. developed over three years in partnership with Vert Design, each vessel is cast by hand in hydrophobic concrete, then finished by hand so no two cure quite alike. a double-walled brushed steel bowl lifts out to clean. weighted to stay exactly where it is placed. held to the standard of everything else you live with.
