What Products Are Covered?


At SABI, we stand by the quality of our products. All SABI products include a minimum 1-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Select items, such as our Beton Concrete Vessels and Stainless Steel Bowls, come with an extended 3-year warranty, a testament to their durability and craftsmanship. 

Limited Edition Products


For our limited edition items, if a replacement is unavailable, you will receive a store credit equal to your original purchase amount, with early or exclusive access to future limited edition releases.

What Is Not Covered?


To the extent permitted by law, our warranty does not cover general wear and tear or damage resulting from misuse or improper care.. Actions that will void the warranty include:

  • Human Actions:

    • Improper Handling: Damage from dropping, mishandling, or using the vessel in ways that cause chips, cracks, or structural damage.

    • Modifications: Altering the product, such as drilling, reshaping, or applying unauthorized finishes.

    • Improper Storage: Storing the product in excessively humid, wet, or freezing conditions.

    • Non-Pet Usage: Using the vessel for purposes other than its intended pet-related functions.

  • Pet Actions:

    • Chewing or Biting: Damage caused by chewing or biting may not be covered under warranty.

    • Scratching: Wear from repeated scratching or clawing.

    • Marking with Urine: Discoloration or material breakdown due to prolonged exposure to pet urine.

    • Overloading: Structural damage from pets using the vessel in unintended ways.

  • Improper Cleaning:

    • Use of Harsh Chemicals: Damage from using strong cleaning agents like bleach or ammonia.

    • Abrasive Cleaning: Scratches or surface wear from using abrasive materials like steel wool.

Making a Warranty Claim

  1. Contact Us:
    If you encounter an issue, contact our customer service team at customerservice@sabipets.com.au. Please provide a brief description of the issue and your product details.

  2. Submit Required Documentation:
    Include the following:

    • Proof of Purchase: A copy of your receipt or invoice.

    • Photos: Clear images of the defect or damage, along with the product’s serial number (if applicable).

  3. Review and Inspection:
    Our warranty team will review your submission. In some cases, we may request that the product be returned for physical inspection. Please note that the customers are responsible for returning shipping costs, and that the costs are non-refundable. 

  4. Resolution:
    We will inform you of the outcome, which could include a repair, replacement, or alternative compensation, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law and to the extent permitted by law.

  5. Follow-Up:
    We will keep you updated throughout the process to ensure your satisfaction.

 

After Approval

If your claim is approved, SABI will provide free shipping costs for the replacement product. For repairs, shipping costs will be reimbursed upon successful claim approval.

Warranty Conditions

  • Geographical Restrictions: The warranty is valid within Australia & all other eligible global shipping destinations.

  • Gifts: The warranty remains valid if the product is given as a gift. The warranty period starts from the original purchase date.
